Important: Important Information About Your GP Practice
We are writing to you as a registered patient of Stanley Medical Centre to provide you with further information on our plans to move to a new building. This letter explains what is changing and how you can ask questions or share your thoughts.
What is changing?
We wrote to you in June to let you know about our plans to move from: 60 Stanley Road, Liverpool, L5 2QA to Bousfield Health Centre, Westminster Road, Liverpool L4 4PP. Following a period of engagement with our patients and other local services we can now confirm that this move will be going ahead.
These two places are very close, less than 0.3 miles apart. You might already know Bousfield Health Centre if you’ve been there for COVID vaccines or evening/weekend appointments.
The two Centre’s already work closely together and share staff and services.
Why are we moving?
Our lease at Stanley Road is ending. We haven’t been able to agree on a new lease that is affordable for us and the NHS.
Since Bousfield Health Centre has space and we already work well with them, we think moving there is the best option. This way, we can keep offering care to our patients without closing the practice.
When will the change happen?
As from 1st August 2025, your practice will be based at Bousfield Health Centre, Westminster Road, Liverpool, L4 4PP.
How will this affect you?
· You will still be registered with the same GP Practice
· The services you get will stay the same
· The staff, opening hours, phone number, email and website will not change
· You do not need to change your nominated pharmacy
· Your practice will relocate to Bousfield Health Centre from 1st August 2025.
You do not have to take any action as a result of this letter, and you should continue to use Stanley Medical Centre as normal until 31st July 2025. From 1st August 2025 you should attend Bousfield Health Centre, Westminster Road, Liverpool L4 4PP.
